Unable to route to some locations

Hi,

Our business has various locations in rail yards that we expect mapping providers to have trouble reaching as there is no obvious road to get to it.

Example:

Point A: 46.996000,-114.720700
Point B: 46.882900,-114.005400

Is there an option through the directions API that allows us to route to the street closest to those points?

Here is an example from google maps that shows it attemps to calculate a route starting and ending on a streets closest to the locations

Thanks,

We're waiting for word from
We're waiting for word from the development team, but that origin is a dirt road in a remote area which is probably somehow the root of the issue. More news to come...

The road closest to the given
The road closest to the given origin, NFD Road 344, is classified as a back road unroutable in the MapQuest route algorithm. If the road should be routable it can be reported to the data provider to change the road classification. Since routing is intended for the greatest number of drivers visiting MapQuest.com, some routes may or may not work for off road, recreational, commercial, or other specialty vehicles.

That's disappointing to hear,

That's disappointing to hear, some of our business operates out there and we rely on MapQuest for that data.
Can this please be reported to the data provider?

Thanks Brian
