Truck routes

There are routes on which trucks can't travel. The directions API available in Mapquest doesn't provide an option for route type as "Truck'. Is there an alternate way of finding directions/routes for trucks? If yes, can you please provide me a link for the same and an example.

Appreciate any help.

There is not truck specific routing. Yet. We're getting there. See the developer blog for recent updates toward truck routing.

Thank you. Can you let me know some tentative dates by when truck specific routing would be available. I see recent updates in developer blog for routing to avoid tunnels and bridges but didn't see something specifically for truck. Could you please provide a specific link. I think I have missed this out.

Nope. There is no schedule

Nope. There is no schedule for truck routing at this time. The tunnel and bridge avoidance is the first step in creating truck routing. More is in the route team's backlog but there is no release calendar for that functionality.

Nope, it is not requested often thus is a low priority. There are no specific dates set at this time.
