Multi modal not working?

For the routes endpoint, I am trying to get public transport routes using an API call, and keep getting an error. I am unable to attach screenshots at the moment, but simply try using the api with multimodal here:

https://developer.mapquest.com/documentation/samples/directions/v2/route/

Please let me know if there was something I did wrong.

Unfortunately, since multimodal got so little use it was removed and is no longer supported. I forwarded the lingering reference in the documentation on to the team to address. Sorry for any inconvenience.
