draw a circle on map quest map

I am trying to draw a non-solid cirlce (only perimter is visible) on mapquest maps. Could you guys suggest any approach or API for that. Also is there any corresponding feature similar to MKMapkit map overlays.

I don't know about the drawing on the map (yet), but for the overlays, do you mean like the polyline and the polygon samples in the iOS user guide?
