Directions routing question

Our company has a lot of locations in a rail yard and the map has limited knowledge of roads that can get to the exact location. Often times when we make a directions request to a rail yard, the tail end of a route shows a leg that includes walking distance/time from the closest road. 

Is there a way to tell the api to ignore any walking portions of a routing request completely?
Is there a way to exlucde any walking  distance/drivetime from the overall route?
