API key security
Hi,
I'm new to mapquest. I wanted to know how exactly to secure the api key to only one domain/IP. Since if we deploy our website anyone can see the html source code and copy the api key. I have the free plan of mapquest(which is 15000 tranactions/month) if someone else uses my api key. Then my transactions will increase. So could someone tell me a way to restrict the api key?

There is no key security
There is no key security functionality for free plan users. Enterprise Edition users can limit usage by referer but this is rare. Keys can be revoked or removed and new ones created if abuse is suspected.
